Connect an AI Assistant with MCP

Lugara runs an MCP server that AI assistants can connect to.

Updated Oct 17, 2026

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use other services for you.

Connect Your Assistant

  1. In your assistant’s settings, add a remote MCP server, sometimes called a connector, with the address https://lugara.me/mcp.
  2. Log in to Lugara when the assistant opens it.
  3. Select Allow Access.

The assistant can then identify your account, read your travel statistics, add and change trips when you ask, and stay connected without signing in again. It can’t delete trips or read your trip list.

Ask in Your Own Words

Mention Lugara so the assistant knows where to save:

  • “I’m flying to Kyoto on Thursday for ten days. Add it to Lugara.”
  • “I’m staying in Porto until December 8 instead”, for a trip it added in the same chat
  • “How many countries have I visited, according to Lugara?”

Lugara asks the assistant to confirm the city and dates with you before saving, and to ask how you traveled if you didn’t say. For your statistics, it gets your trips taken, countries, places, days traveled, and upcoming trips.

Disconnect Your Assistant

Remove Lugara from your assistant’s connectors. Deleting your Lugara account also ends its access. The privacy policy lists what a connection receives.
