Selective Public Profile
- Private until you make it public
- Your own address with the username you pick
- Your map, trips, statistics, and collections for visitors to see
- Tax residency numbers that stay hidden from visitors
Public Profile is one switch in your account settings. Until you turn it on, only you can see your map, trips, and statistics, and turning it off makes your profile private again right away. A profile is either private or public, with no friends-only mode in between.
Make the Profile Yours
Choose a username and your profile gets an address like lugara.me/@yourname. Add your name, a photo, a short bio, your website, and your Instagram, and visitors see your profile in the theme color you picked. Lugara Product Brief #2 covers the photo and the appearance settings.
Visitors See Your Travels
A public profile shows your globe in the style you picked, your trips and places, your statistics, and your collections. Your tax residency numbers never appear on it.
Anyone with the address can see your public profile, and its trips are also available as JSON at the same address with .json added. Search engines leave profiles out of their results, so people find yours through the links you share.
