Data Stored in the European Union

Your trips, your account, and your profile photo live on servers in the European Union, under the GDPR. There are no ads, and nobody buys what you record.

Private Until You Share

Your profile starts private, so only you see your trips until you make it public. Your tax residency numbers stay private even then. Lugara's page analytics run on our own server and count visits anonymously.

Outside Services Get Only What They Need

Some features rely on other services. When you add a trip with a sentence, the sentence goes to OpenAI to read the city and the dates, and the city name goes to Mapbox to find it on the map. Payments go through Stripe. The privacy policy lists each service and what it receives.

Take Your Data With You

Download a full backup of your account as JSON whenever you like, and restore it into Lugara later. With Lugara Pro, you can also export your trips as CSV or Excel for spreadsheets, or as GeoJSON or KML for mapping apps such as Google Earth. Lugara Product Brief #2 introduced these formats.

In your account settings, you can delete all your trips, or your account together with its trips. Start your private travel log.
