# Sync With Your Social Profiles

When people look you up on GitHub, your profile can tell them where you are. With GitHub sync on, the location on your GitHub profile shows the city and country of the trip you're on.

## Your Location Updates Every Six Hours

Sync also works the other way. Connect your NomadList profile, and the trips you add there come into Lugara without you adding them twice.
