# Add a Trip with the Classic Form

> The classic form gives each part of a trip its own field, so you pick the city from a list.

Open Add Trip, then select Switch to Classic Input below the form.

1. Type at least two letters of the city, then pick it from the suggestions.
2. Set the Start Date. It starts out as today.
3. Set the End Date, the day you leave. It can be the start date.
4. Choose how you traveled, or leave it empty.
5. Select Save Trip.

The suggestions show each city's region and country, so you can tell cities with the same name apart. Text you typed without picking a suggestion doesn't save, and the form says "Please select a location from the suggestions."
